Subsequently, in 1944, was named finance minister by President Juan Antonio Ríos Morales, a position he held from 6 October 1944 until 14 May 1945. on the diplomatic side, remained in Turkey, as head of the technical section of the Joint Commission Exchange Greek populations, Turks and Constantinople, in the years 1928 to 1931. It was referee boundary dispute between Panama and Costa Rica in 1944. and finally, was ambassador of Chile in Italy, 1959 to 1963. He collaborated in the press with political articles in 1923 directed the magazine "Numen" and preached the social revolution, also published brochures of some of his speeches.
