Understanding Nakshatras

The nakshatras are 27 lunar mansions that divide the zodiac into equal segments of 13°20' each. Unlike the 12 signs which are solar-based, nakshatras are lunar-based and provide a more nuanced understanding of planetary energies.

Each nakshatra has its own deity, symbol, ruling planet, and unique characteristics. When a planet occupies a particular nakshatra, its expression is colored by the qualities of that nakshatra.
