Queen of Poland from 1575 to 1586. She was the daughter of Poland's King Sigismund I the Old, and the wife of Stephen Báthory. She was elected, along with her then fiancé, Báthory, as co-ruler in the second election of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Anna was the last member of the Jagiellon dynasty.In the PTA database, Mirosław Czylek quotes the book by Edward Rudzki: "Polskie królowe: Żony królów elekcyjnych" (Polish Queens..) with "Anna Jagiellonka urodziła się w Krakowie 18 października 1523 roku o godzinie trzynastej" (Anna Jagiellon was born in Kraków on 18 October 1523 at the 13th). Whether that really means 13h (1pm) is up to interpretation, as it was probably not common to count hours beyond 12.
