Vedic Horoscope for Homann, Walter
German resistance fighter against National Socialism, a locksmith by profession who became a member of the Roten Kapelle ("Red Orchestra") espionage network. Walter Homann joined the Communist Party of Germany (Kommunistische Partei Deutschlands, KPD) in 1928. After 1933, he collected money and donations in kind for the families of imprisoned opponents of Nazism. On 28 February 1945, he was arrested and sentenced to death on 21 March 1945 by the Berlin Superior Court. The sentence was enforced two and a half weeks later, on 10 April 1945. In addition to Homann his work colleagues Wilhelm Bösch, Gustav Sadranowski, Karl Müller, Wilhelm Leist, Otto Lang and Richard Klotzbücher were also executed in Plötzensee prison in the same month, and Karl Behrens in 1943.Sy Scholfield provided birth registry entry from Berlin archives.
