Vedic Horoscope for Henning, John
Scottish carpenter who turned to sculpturing. His masterpieces were the one twentieth scale models he created of the Parthenon and Bassae friezes. These took him twelve years to complete. He failed to gain a copyright on this work and others profited by copying his work. Henning died on the 8 April 1851, two years after his wife. Sy Scholfield quotes John Malden's book "John Henning, 1771-1851" (Renfrew District Council Museum and Art Galleries Dept, 1977), p. 1777: "The eldest of their eleven children, John, was born a little after sunrise on the 2nd May 1771."
