Vedic Horoscope for Halley, Edmond
British scientist who explored the Atlantic coast, surveying the tides and coastline of the English channel, publishing a topographical map in 1702. A professor of geometry at Oxford in 1703, he was appointed Astronomer Royal in 1721.
