Vedic Horoscope for Francis Boyle, 1st Viscount Shannon

Sy Scholfield cites father's journal quoted in The Lismore papers, Autobiographical notes, remembrances and diaries of Sir Richard Boyle, first and 'great' Earl of Cork, Vol 2, edited by Alexander B. Grosart (Brooklyn House, Blackburn, Lancs., 1856), p. 111: "My son ffrances Boyle was borne at Lismoor about xj of the clock in thevening on Wednesday thexxvday of June 1623, the sign being then in Libra." This is translated in The Lismore Papers of Richard Boyle, First and "Great" Earl of Cork, Volume 2, Part 5 (Chiswick, 1888), p. 236: "My wife, God be thanked, was safely delivered of her sixt son at Lismore, about x of the clock in the evening on Wednesday being the xxvth day of June 1623." NB: This date was a Wednesday in the Julian calendar.Irish politician, a Privy Counsellor of Ireland who held the office of Governor of County Cork. He was the fourth son of Richard Boyle, 1st Earl of Cork. The Hon. Francis Boyle was created Viscount Shannon in 1660. He was married to Elizabeth, daughter of Sir Robert Killigrew and sister of the dramatist Thomas Killigrew. His wife had a daughter by Charles II: Charlotte Jemima FitzRoy (c.1650–1684). He died on 19 April 1699, aged 75.
