He died 7 July 1939.Sy Scholfield cites birth record quoted in "Arturo Bianchi: paesaggi, figure, impressioni, 1856-1939" (Skira, 2007), p. 15: "Ma la sua vera nascita è registrata nel Comune di Brescia, come abbiamo riscontrato nel libro dei battezzati della parrocchia di San Giovanni Evangelista, dove si legge infatti che: "Il 19 ottobre 1856. Giacinto Luigi Carlo Arturo, figlio di Bianchi Angelo del fu Carlo e di Signoroni Emilia del fu Bartolomeo L[egittimi] Qoniugi] nato il 12 detto alle ore 1 pom. e fu battezzato in casa dal Rev.do Sig.r C[ura]to Legnazzi."
