Roussimoff stood at 2.24 m tall, and weighed up to 250 kg, which was a result of gigantism caused by excess growth hormone, and later resulted in acromegaly. It also led to his being called "The Eighth Wonder of the World". By email: I was searching through Google for Andre the Giant's birth record and birth time. And I found a book called The Eighth Wonder Of The World: The True Story Of Andre the Giant. It says on page 4 he was born May 19, 1946 at 3:10 pm in Coulommiers, France. I saw that Lepoivre has the same birth data for him on their site.
