On 7 June 2014 Sy Scholfield quotes "Marie Steiner von Sivers: Biografie - Kulturimpuls - Spannungsfelder" by Theodor Hundhammer (BoD – Books on Demand, 2014), p. 9: "Marie Steiner, geborene von Sivers, war Baltin deutscher Abstammung. Sie wurde am 14. März 1867 um 4:29 Uhr, als drittes von fünf Kindern in Wlotzlawek, mitten im heutigen Polen, geboren."
