Vedic Horoscope for Gillard, Henri
French Breton priest attached to the Sainte-Onenne church in Tréhorenteuc from 1942 to 1962. As soon as he arrived, he restored this small communal church in Morbihan by decorating it with paintings that mix the wonderful Celtic with the Christian faith, through the symbolism of the Grail. He clearly popularized the Arthurian legend thanks to his numerous works and to the guided tours of the nearby Val sans retour (Valley of No Return), which he organized. During his years of ministry, he guided visitors and accommodated them in the church. His activities energized the town of Tréhorenteuc, then the victim of a major rural exodus, to make it a popular tourist destination. Disowned and exiled by his hierarchy in 1962, Father Gillard was finally rehabilitated and buried in the church of Tréhorenteuc after his death on 15 July 1979.
