Sy Scholfield quotes the chronicle of events in "Allgemeine preussische staats-geschichte, samt aller dazu gehörigen königreichs, churfürstenthums, herzogthümer, fürstenthümer, graf- und herrschaften, aus bewährten schriftstellern und urkunden bis auf gegenwärtige regierung," Volumes 3-4, by Karl Friedrich Pauli (C. P. Francken, 1762), p. 591: "George Wilhelm, geboren zu Berlin 1595 den 3ten Nov. zwischen 3 und 4 Uhr Nachmittags." [Translation: George William, born in Berlin in 1595 the 3rd of Nov. between 3 and 4 o'clock in the afternoon.]
