Peruvian writer, journalist and diplomat. In the field of literature he dabbled in poetry, essays and drama. He joined the Faculty of Arts at the National University of San Marcos (1909). In 1917 he became secretary of the Ministry of Public Works; the following year he returned to the consulate in Barcelona, ​​where he remained until 1922. Since then devoted himself to journalism, noted for his sharp remarks. He is also remembered as a pioneer in broadcasting in Peru. It was the first artistic director of National Radio of Peru, station set up in 1933 by transformation of the first radio station of Peru, the Peruvian Broadcasting Company, which was inaugurated in 1925.
