Jonathan Edwards. Sy Scholfield quotes from family record in family bible transcribed in The Life of President Edwards by Sereno Edwards Dwight (G. & C. & H. Carvill, 1830), p. 762: "My son Pierpont, was born Sabbath night, April 8, 1750, between 8 and 9 o'clock,. and was baptized the Sabbath following.... died at Bridgeport, April 14, 1826, aged 76." NB: This birth date Old Style was indeed a Sunday. Wikipedia incorrectly has 5 April as date of death.
