Belgian Flemish singer. She is famous in Flanders as a singer of Dutch-language vocal music, including Land van ons twee, the Dutch version of The Power of Love. She started her career in 1989 as a duet with Erik van Neygen, who was 22 years older than Sanne. Erik was producer and manager of Sanne, but they were also a couple. On October 25, 1995 they had a daughter, on 28 October 1996 they married. They broke up in 2000, but got together again in 2004 as a duo. Their daughter Maartje is occasionally singing with them. Because of Erik's poor health, the couple plans to end their career in September 2012.
