Vedic Horoscope for Charlotte Christine, Grand Duchess of Russia
German princess as the daughter of Louis Rudolph, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and Christine Louise of Oettingen-Oettingen. She was the great aunt of Marie Antoinette. On 25 October 1711 at Torgau, Charlotte Christine married Tsarevich Alexei, eldest son and heir of Peter I of Russia by his first wife Eudoxia Lopukhina. They had a daughter, Natalia, and a son, later Peter II of Russia. Charlotte Christine died on 2 November 1715, aged 21, a few days after the birth of her son. Sy Scholfield quotes from the German book "Burg- und Marggräfflich-Brandenburgische Landes- und Regenten-Historie" by Johann Matthias Groß (Enderes, 1749), p. 538: "Christiana Charlotta ... welche den 20. Aug. 1694. zu Kirchheim an der Teck früh gegen 4. Uhr gebohren worden."
